Job responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans (hunting) to achieve company growth objectives.

• Identify and prioritize target markets and customers within the apparel, e-commerce, and consumer retail sectors.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with mid-sized companies.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.

• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.

• Develop and nurture long-term relationships with potential clients.

• Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized logistics solutions that meet client needs.

• Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.

• Negotiate and close business deals to secure new contracts.

• Leverage existing network to generate leads and build partnerships.

• Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and expand professional network.

• Stay updated on industry developments and emerging trends.

• Monitor and report on sales performance and key business metrics.

• Analyze market data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Provide regular updates to senior management on business development activities and progress.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development or sales within the logistics industry.

• Proven track record of success in acquiring and managing mid-sized company accounts in the apparel, e-commerce, or consumer retail sectors.

• Extensive existing network of contacts within the target industries.

• Strong strategic planning and business development skills.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

• Strong analytical skills and market research capabilities.

• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.
