Transport Procurement Supervisor


Job responsibilities

• Responsible for transport carrier development, optimization, and operation.

• Responsible for service provider negotiation, communication, and maintenance.

• Industry’s competition information acquisition.

• Collaborate with service providers in various countries.

• Involve in setting up and optimizing the carrier performance reviewing system.

• Be a point of contact for escalations from carriers and warehouses.

• Coordinate with warehouses and local planning teams.

• Support Sales and operations in providing transport solutions.

Job requirements

• At least 3 years experience in planning or forwarding over the road transport for either FTL or LTL transport.

• Experience in procurement and channel-related jobs with good communication and negotiation skills will be a plus.

• Experience in truck planning is a great addition.

• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, beneficial would be Chinese, Spanish, Polish, Lithuanian, Russian and Romanian.

• Excellent planning and time management skills with the ability to pioneer new ideas.

• Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse set of internal and external partners.

• Open-minded, with the ability to adapt and learn actively to the fast-paced, fast-growing cross-border logistics industry.
